Walking tour in Rio's Historic Center

The tour begins at Floriano Square, near the Cinelândia metro station.

Here we will visit historical buildings, including the Municipal Theater, National Library, Federal Justice Cultural Center, and Pedro Ernesto Palace.

Our first stop will be Largo da Carioca with the Santo Antônio Convent, followed by a visit to the famous Confeitaria Colombo for coffee.

We continue along Rua do Ouvidor until we reach the historic Praça XV de Novembro, where we will see the Imperial Palace, Tiradentes Palace, Carmo Fountain, Arco dos Teles, and the Church of Our Lady of Carmo of the Old Cathedral.

We will return along Rua do Ouvidor until we reach the famous Royal Portuguese Reading Room.

We will pass through Tiradentes Square and continue to the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Finally, we will visit Lapa, the bohemian neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, and the Selarón Steps.
